For sale ONLY "AS IS",(No trades, no part-outs) is a 2003 Mercedes CLK55 AMG with 68,700+ original miles. Car is currently located in Northern California. I have put just more than 2,000 miles on it since I have owned it.

It has a variety of performance modifications which I will note below.

It is a fantastic car to drive, everything works perfectly. Super fast, great at all speeds, and in the twistys as well. Comfortable, built like a tank. It has been a great weekend/nice day only car for me.

All fluids have been replaced within the last 1,000 miles, no issues, no CEL's all is good. AC serviced, filters changed, etc.

I am SUPER picky with my cars and I am proud to say you can pretty much eat off any area of this car, thanks to my car ODC. I can provide any serious buyer with far more pictures and detailed descriptions as requested. I have owned the car for two years. I bought it here from a previous forum member here and he documented quite a bit of the initial work. I have done further upgrades since it has been in my possession.

I am selling it for two reasons:

1- I am shopping for another AMG. I want a convertible. Lost my SL55 in the Oct 17 CA wildfires and need another.

2- The original owner made modifications that are not California CARB compliant, so it is currently registered as a 'Non Operational" vehicle in CA. I have a clean title in hand and all registration information as well. It has only gone out on weekends since in my ownership.More than reliable enough to be a daily driver, but for me it is a weekend toy.

It needs to go to a good home where another AMG enthusiast can enjoy it and not have to deal with CA smog stuff.

With that said, I will be negotiable in my price and have connections in the auto carrier industry and will give the right buyer a really good deal. I am more concerned with finding the right buyer than the overall cost. It is not my daily driver, so I can afford to have patience as everything is paid for. It is sitting in my garage under a car cover and gets started and driven on weekends. Fully insured. Runs wicked. Scares the wife really bad....

Stuff:

5.5 liter V-8 w/Kleemann original Auto Rotor supercharger, twin screw, 10:1 Forged pistons. About 12,000 miles on the motor since updating. Everything is made for this car.

Kleemann ported/polished heads, Kleemann ECU, smaller drive pulley, upgraded cooling pump, intercooler, injectors, spark plugs, mid-length headers, NO cats, custom MB muffler, new MAF and MAS. It runs perfect. No heat or cooling issues.

Quaife LSD, Level 10 5 speed automatic transmission with HD clutch packs.

Wiring harness updated, modified MB E-55 air box with new Proform Dry-Flo air filters. Heat wrapped intake tubes.

Newer (Less than 1,500 miles) Michelin Pilot Sport 4's all the way around.
235/35/19's on front and 265/30/19's on back.
Rims are reproduction 16-spoke AMG that can be found on the Black Series. I had them professional machined to a brushed finish and they look great on the car. Car runs spacers (all German) and no issues of any kind. Ceramic brake pads on clean W209 rotors all the way around.

Prior German Wide body kit, four fender flares, side skirts, front vents, and front air dam. All black. Paint is very good for it's age, it does have some very small rock chips which I touch up as needed, and a few small scrapers under the front spoiler, but you have to be under it to see them, I would say paint/body around 87-90%. Rear tail lights are newer LED's.
I am a detail freak, so I keep it in the best condition I can, all the time.

Fully adjustable Bilstein Pss9 suspension. New rear shock boots. You can make it squishy or super firm . All bushings as needed have been replaced with new ones.

Interior is a slate grey with full sheepskin seat covers, new floor mats, iphone adaptor to play music through the nice OEM Bose sound system, hardwire UnidenLRD 950 radar detector, 20% window tints all the way around. Interior is easily 93-95%. No rips, tears, or anything else. It has lead a very easy life.
