Description:
For sale is my Genuine 2002 Mercedes-Benz S500 Pullman with 29,500 miles
By listing it on MB specific forum, I know you guys know what this car is but I'll still include a quick description:
"The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman can easily be distinguished from the long-wheelbase version of the S-Class by virtue of a wheelbase, which has been extended by another full metre.
The suffix Pullman alone is enough to give away the noble character of the limousine: back in the mid-19th century, the American industrialist George Mortimer Pullman from Chicago in the state of Illinois made a name for himself by building lavishly equipped train carriages. Ever since then, the name has been synonymous with maximum comfort on wheels.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman models leave the factory equipped with AIRmatic air suspension, the ESP electronic stability program and a five-speed automatic transmission."
I was lucky enough to get this very rare machine passed on to me, but as much as I love it and love taking care of it, I am not a collector nor do I drive it or get driven in it.
This car was $400,000 and as you know these types of cars tend to have interesting history of ownership. Indeed this one does and has the documentation to back it up.
The car is in great condition for its age, other than normal wear and tear. AIRmatic works fine, and it runs and drives perfectly and has only been maintained at the dealership. It has a TV divider and a Phone to communicate with the driver from the cabin
The VIN listed is the US VIN (given to the car when imported to the US. Labeled on driver door) and will not appear in searches such as Carfax. I am including a cropped picture of the title to show that the DMV does recognize this vehicle with this VIN.
Specs:
Exterior Color: Dark Turquoise Metallic
Interior: Oyster
Engine: 5.0 liter V8
Mileage: 29,500 miles
Price: $45,000 negotiable
