Description:

As any E55 wagon enthusiast knows, there were only 64 of these imported into the USA for the 2006 model year.
I bought this car in March 2015 from the dealer where it was originally purchased. It was stored at the first owner's vacation home in Vail. Then it was trucked back to the dealer where I was lucky enough to scoop it up the day it arrived. I am only the second owner. All recommended service has been done by the dealer. They even sold me a full warranty that is transferable and good until March 21,2020! The deductible is ZERO and it's an exclusionary plan meaning that everything is covered except what is specifically stated to be excluded. I also had clear shield put on the hood, and outside mirrors because it had no chips and I didn't want to add any.
I bought it with 17,000 miles. It now has 24,4xx. It has always been stored in winter. It has never been smoked or eaten in. It has been kept up on service and recalls. It is pristine. the wheels are in perfect condition. No curb rash.
It is pewter with charcoal leather. It has burl walnut, Distronic, the Lighting package which includes Bi-Xenon headlights, the Premium package ( active ventilated and heated front seats) and much more, power lift gate and a collapsible spare tire.
The title is clear. I have two keys, the original manuals and Coco Mats.
The car will be featured on Bring a Trailer.

Got really excited until I saw it has no Keyless go and If it had one, we'll be closing the deal now, if not already. Nice car nonetheless. GLWS

They don't make an orange with green stripe wagons, do they? Joking aside, buyers who are paying above the market price are usually very finicky and picky. Yes I'd like to have a Keyless heck, I just bought a Camry for our son and I made sure it had a KGo toO.

This particular example is very nice and well maintained so Kgo might not be an issue for some buyers.

Joking aside. Comparing this to new/used Camrys that are available at almost any dealership one would step into is not exactly applies to apples. When you are buying 14 year old car that is more rare than most of Ferraris or a Lambos with such a low milage and complain about option like this it seems hmmm..... extraordinary ? out of a little over 300 S211s that made it to US between 04-09 how many low milage ones could be left ? Oh well. Good luck to the seller and to the buyers. Those are great cars. And yes. Those sell for a premium comparing to sedans. There are also no deals at the dealerships on those, when ordering new or buying used ones. All that and their rarity drive the market.

1. Source Keyless Go system (4 door handles, 2 modules in each front door, 1in each rear, 1 antenna in trunk, and the brains are above the NAV cd in the driver's side rear quarter panel)
2. Install in the car
3. Go to your dealership and have them update the SAM (Keyless Go = YES)

Done.

Did this yesterday.

Wish it was that simple. I think you forgot the shifter for the push start that comes with the KGo. Any idea how expensive that would be, my guess at least $3-4000 for everything Installed.

You’re right. I did forget to put that in my list but it was part of the conversion (and the easiest part too). The push button shifter is *not* connected by wire (only by RF) to the car. Removal of the knob is maybe a 30 second process after you remove the shifter surround as it is a twist of a collar and then pull up.

Not sure on pricing but the modules are easily obtained from all W211s via secondary markets like eBay.

i pulled all of the parts from a single working donor vehicle.

Don't you need to purchase a new set of keys?

No. The key is programmed to the car and the Keyless Go is programmed to the SAM.
