Description:
Mercedes' flagship sedan in 2006. 604 horsepower, claimed 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Mercedes only sold 427 of them in the US.
Purchased in Oct, 2016 from the son of the original owner, when it had 72K miles on it. I have the original window sticker ($175,624). Dozens of service records and the many books. I've also done a title history search which will go with the car. It has always been in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.
Have compiled a registry of as many of the 2006 S65 AMGs as I could. Accounted for 101 of the 427. You will receive it when you purchase the car. At about the 45th car I began keeping photos of the cars I found and you are welcome to those.
Following parts have been replaced or services performed since Oct 2016. Regular oil change, most of which are accounted for in the service records. Includes two first aid kits and the tire changing gloves.
Spark plugs, brake fluid, and fuel filter.
Both ignition coils.
Both turbo drain tubes, left front lower control arm, ABC pulsation damper.
Intercooler coolant pump.
Flush cooling system.
Flush ABC, replace filter, replace high pressure hose. Recharge A/C.
Air pump relay and engine air filter.
Driver's door latch, trunk latch, and left rear ABC valve block.
Radiator, oil level sensor, all motor mounts, and rear main seal.
Rear brake pads. Hood props.
Lateral acceleration module.
Continental tires, the rears probably have a few thousand miles left on them. The fronts have more.
Leatherique on interior about once a year, including the dash and door trim panels. Driver's seat shows virtually no wear.
Shortly before I got it, all the accumulators in the Active Body Control system were replaced.
No leaks. Fluid levels stay up. Everything works except the Parktronic. I normally just shut it off.
Clear coat coming off rear bumper. It was that way when I bought it. I assume it has been repainted.
Standard S-class floor mats, rather than the AMG mats..
