Description:

Used set of Eurocharged slip on long tube headers for W211 E55 and W219 CLS55 AMG. These were actually purchased on MBWorld years back for $1200 by the previous owner of my E55, never installed them and included in the purchase of the car to me. Never installed myself either, and sold my E55 last week.

Will need to be welded to the exhaust.

They are slip on, the runners are slipped into the collector.

I see, thanks for clearing up.
How would these compare to the VRP 675$ headers? I can't seem to find much info.

I believe the VRP headers are sourced from the same factory as the XS headers and other rebranded headers, made in China. I also believe the Eurocharged headers were manufactured in the U.S.

I'm no means an expert on M113k headers, so if I have misspoke, please let me know.

The Eurocharged headers were hand-built in Plainfield, IL and will fit a lot better than the Chinese headers . I have the Huron Speed/PB5 headers and they required some modification to fit properly. Some people do complain about the slip collectors leaking when cold but they should seal up when warm.

Thanks for the info, that makes sense since Eurocharged started in IL, not too far from me actually.

I find it hard to believe the slip on headers are harder to install as I've heard in the past, seems like it would be easier to install each runner at a time, instead of fitting four fixed runners that take up a lot more room. I could be wrong however, never have done a header install, let alone one on an M113K.

I have installed a couple sets (I helped get Eurocharged off the ground when still in Illinois) and they are not bad to install at all. Leaving the nuts at the heads loose while aligning the connectors and then snugging everything up is the trick. I would install 10 of these over 1 Huron Speed/PB5!

Gotcha, my Dad actually has an 04 E55, maybe instead of selling I will give these to him. Do you still offer installation? If so, how much would you charge?

Nothing wrong with them, just measured them, the runners are 1.75" in diameter, the collector is 3" in diameter.
