Do you think the front console/shifter piece can be used for a W124 Cabriolet? I know that I will need to cut out another hole for the convertible top switch. Do you think its possible without cracking or damaging the rest of it?

Well...if you use a lot of masking tape, and a dremel with several diff type of bits, I bet you can get it to work.
