I have not had the deadbolts or any part of the valve train replaced. I’m a strong believer in preventative maintenance and paying attention to potential issues, but some preventative “fixing” can sometimes cause more harm
I haven’t experienced some of the same symptoms others have mentioned, but i don’t race or abuse the car. I don’t think the previous owner did this replacement either. Happy to answer any other questions. Send me a PM if you want further info considering you are local.

I have a very similar car. Definitely a rare beast and an awesome example. If you post the condition of the front brake rotors and pads, might help in your sale, especially if they have lots of life left.

Thanks for your message. Front and rear brakes were serviced about 6K miles ago when they were at 3mm. The A-Service was performed a few weeks ago and pads measured at 7mm all around. There was no mention or concern about rotors. The brakes don’t pulsate or squeal, so at least I know they are not warped, but I don’t have a measurement on thickness.

Also, the 471 LSD was not a part of the P31...so this is a special find! Hard to find a car with P31 and LSD.
P30 package had LSD standard.

only p31 had the upgraded lightened internals from the SLS, and no, it has no relation to the design of the headshots, which is the reason they sometimes fail.

Buyer beware, he decided not to sell me this car because right off the bat, he thinks i'm a scammer and tire kicker...when we haven't schedule a day to see the car yet.

Thanks for your thoughtful post. The fact that you could not figure out how to PM me (pretty simple). Your only question is “is it available and send me your number” followed by “I’m ready to buy your car, when can we meet”, you asked no other questions about the car, and you only communicate via text, you pretty much set off every warning sign.
You came from a position of zero trust and never really made any inroads to develop trust as a serious buyer. It is very possible that I am reading you wrong and if I offended you, I apologize. But frankly in the world today there are more dishonest people than there are legitimate buyers in for sale forums. With the limited interaction and information I had, you fell into the former category. It’s about balancing risk and reward. And in the City of Angles and all that comes with it, I’m going to lean towards lowering my risk. And you should do the same as a buyer if something does not feel right. It’s a right that both of us have based on our life experiences and intuition. There was no intent to offend you and I appreciate your right to express your viewpoint as much as I hope you consider mine.
You have my number. If you are interested in legitimately purchasing a vehicle anywhere near the asking price, call me so at least I know you are human. There is something to be said about direct interaction.
