Had my CDI since 2014 and it has been a great all-purpose vehicle. It has always been garaged and I do not commute with it, so all miles are longer distance road trips. Maintenance history kept in Excel. Possibly the cleanest CDI in Socal.

Major Maintenance (lots more in records)
• Oil/filter always changed every 6-7k mi with Mobil 1 ESP diesel spec (5w40 or 5w30)
• 52k: all drivetrain fluids changed
• 57k: replaced rear main seal
• 73k: new starter and crank pulley
• 88k: new oil cooler with updated o-rings + coolant flush. As you may know, this is a very involved and pricey repair but if you are looking to buy a diesel w164 ML, the original oil cooler is guaranteed to leak. Buy one that has it fixed already!
• 91k: Intake Flap Actuator replaced
• Brakes: Akebono brake pads all around (very little dust). ~ 80% front / ~ 50% rear.
• Tires: Bridgestone Deuler H/L Alenza Plus with lots of thread left (255/50/R19)
• Battery: about 4 years old but always on a battery tender when not in use. Should have plenty of life left
Cosmetics
Paint is all original and in excellent condition with no door dings or major imperfections since it’s always been garaged and clayed/sealed on occasion. The seats look new and the interior as a whole has very little wear. One wheel has a little curb rash from the first owner.
