Anyone looking to buy a C55 in the near future?
2005 w/ 82k miles, new Bridgestone pole position tires, K&N filters, secondary cat/resonator delete, eurocharged tune. Garaged it’s whole life in Southern California. Accident free. Clean carfax. Title in hand. Two keys.
Brilliant Silver on black interior with walnut trim.
Recent maintenance
Crankshaft position sensor, CLK black series motor and transmission mounts.

C55s have caught my eyes while searching for a newer car being the most reliable amg made and a complete sleeper, especially in my area up in Portland OR. Im making two trips down to California this winter and would love to purchase one. Id plan on financing it but I was curious if you'd be able to go lower in price for a realistic approval for a loan. Test drove one the other day over here going for 9k but it's got 147k miles. Yikes I know. If you were interested in my request reply and I'll get back to you. I'll offer 15k and we can work from there if possible

I think the biggest red flag here is that you're trying to get near as makes no difference 20 grand for a car and you won't spend $20 on an updated carfax. There are no pictures of receipts, the underbody, the engine bay, or the interior. Those things are all pretty important. If you're serious about selling this car why not put in a little more effort? It wouldn't take you more than an hour.

It wouldn't take you more than an hour.
The car sits in the garage and gets driven maybe once a week. I have a 911S that’s my DD.
I do have a couple carfaxs left on my account and that is an option pending someone shows up and wants to buy it. I’m still looking for another car to buy so I’m hanging onto the carfax reports for now. Receipts? I have receipts for the motor mounts, transmission mount and the CPS.
The carfax won’t show anything new since I bought it other than the new owner, hence the reason why I haven’t burned a report yet. I did the CPS, cabin filter and all oil changes and filters. My friend who is a mechanic did the mounts.

I’m also curious to see this C55 in Austin you bring up because I just did a search and couldn’t find it.

just fyi i have owned a clk430, c32, c55, 2x w209 clk55s among many other Mercedes and currently have an e55 and glk350. I have been playing this game for a long time. I wish you the best of luck but I don't think it will sell at this price. I am currently in the market for an 05 clk55 hard top but there is no way I would pay over 10k for one.
