Did you plan on buying your lease out and selling it private party? You may run into issues as MB Financial has changed some of its 3rd party purchasing policies.

Correct, I will be buying it out and then selling it. That sucks because I will have to pay sales tax but it is what it is. I'd rather do that than give it back to the stealership. Besides, if someone here buys it, it should go to a good home; someone who appreciates these cars. If it doesn't sell I'm just going to keep it and keep driving it until it eventually sells. I'm in no hurry.

As it turns out, local MB dealers actually want to "buy" the car from me for almost what I'm asking here. Working on that but still willing to sell here to someone that will take care of it properly.

Ok, one last shot. The car has actually climbed in value which blows my mind. I have an appointment this week to sell to a local dealer, last chance. If someone is interested it's still ready to go, otherwise it will be gone this week.

Hello, I’m in almost the same boat. I bought my 2018 c43 new and my lease was up in august. I chose to buy it out as it made the most sense at the time. I recently ordered a 2022 cla 45 and will be looking to sell the c43 soon. I was curious about selling it on my own or to a dealer but I was getting some crappy numbers from other dealers. Are you selling to a Mercedes dealer? Just curious what I should realistically expect and which avenue I should go down. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
