I bought this car in Aug 2019. The W210 E55 AMG has always been my dream car. I've had 3 total and currently own 2. This is a Highway Monster German Muscle Car but at the same time its a Sleeper Sedan that flies under the radar. I drove this car between Florida and Massachusetts 7 times since 2020. 1500 miles each way, the car performed excellent and can get up to 28 MPG on highway (see picture 42). I have a folder full of service records going back to 2007.

These E55s are becoming more desired due to rarity. They only imported approx 600-1200 to North America each year 1999-2002. This 2001 was the last year made at the Original AMG factory and has the lowest production numbers with 653 made. The 1999-2002 W210 AMG is going for high price$$$ on Bring a Trailer website (see photos 43-47). The low mileage examples are now selling for $15k - $40K. I am moving out of state soon and would like to sell it, but I DONT NEED TO SELL IT.

Current Issues - CEL on due to dirty MAF Sensor, I cleaned it and CEL is still on, but I see no need to change it because my MPG has only gotten better and better as I've owned the car. Rear passenger window needs new regulator installed, I have the part and will include it in the sale, its an easy job, I've done it before. YES car has rust in different spots (common W210 issue) (see pictures 37-41) and paint is as to be expected on a 20 year old car with 215K mostly highway miles, front bumper could use a respray. Car is priced accordingly with current issues.

This car IS NOT a pristine cosmetic example, if you want showroom quality then move on. This is great car for someone who wants to pop their cherry on a handmade AMG car that drives great but won't cost you a lot. Or it could be a great car for someone who currently has or used to have one of these, and just wants another one that they can put miles on and not have to worry about keeping it mint.
