For sale is my 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 Sedan. The 2012 S550 received a major improvement in powertrain over prior years with the new M278 4.6L Bi-Turbo V8 Engine. Makes 429hp and 516lb-ft of torque. Serviced by Mercedes-Benz of North Scottsdale. It is a turn-key vehicle and listed below will be the maintenance that it has received in the past few years:
-Engine Mounts
-Transmission Mount
-New Drive Belt
-4 new turbo coolant lines (common issue with the M278 motor. All 4 replaced at once)
-Transmission Fluid Service
-New Spark Plugs
-New Arnott Air Strut (front driver's side)
-Oil Change
The following was purely elective on my part:
-New Front Upper Control Arms
-New Lower Control Arms
-New Ball Joints
-New Inner and Outer Tie Rods
-Alignment
Essentially all of the rubber in the front suspension was replaced. The car is tight as a drum. Tires are Michelin Pilot A/S3 tires with more than 50% treadlife left and no curb rash on the wheels. This car should not need anything for a fair amount of time.
Some imperfections that you will notice:
-Front bumper of the car has typical AZ minor rock chips
-Front left rotor squeaks at low speed under breaking, however pads and rotors have more than 50% life
