Description:

Star diagnostic setup, I've been using on my '03 E55 for 4 years, sold car and it's too old for my newer AMG. Will do coding, SBC, diagnostics, WIS documents etc.

I bought this from another member when I bought my car, so I don't know where it originated, but it's never given me an issue.

Battery life isn't great, I replaced it a year or two ago, but good enough for an extended test drive etc. I just leave it plugged in when not using. Included instructions and document sheet should the software give you error codes, you sometimes just have to change the date/time in the system for it to load Xentry.

I used it to activate SBC stop/hold, and code out rear o2 sensors for catless exhaust as well as the secondary air injection. Very handy!

There are some other cables not pictured for other chassis that will be included.

Asking $700 obo, I think I paid $900 when I bought it and that is on par with what's on Ebay etc.

While I appreciate the input, I did spend some time searching comparable units for sale and unless you are buying an entire container of them from China, you can't really find just the multiplexer for that price let alone a whole setup with a nice laptop, WIS etc. Again, this is 'or best offer', and I really hope you aren't posting this low value because these units pose a competition to your business...your own website talks about why these aren't good in your FAQ section, how the software 'disappears after a few months' etc. I've read similar things, and that is likely true on the cheapest ones you can find. I can vouch I've been using this unit regularly for 4 years and have never had an issue.

Thanks! Yeah that seems about right, I've seen $500-$600 direct from China and some of the vendors asking a good amount in shipping too, Ebay it's a bit more but maybe there is more purchase protection too.

No worries, I know this is old school tech compared to what you mostly do. I've just been exhausted by the process of selling my E55, so many lowball offers ("$6k cash", seriously?!), was happy to finally find a buyer who knew what they are worth and will appreciate it and not wrap it around a telephone pole...hopefully...
