Hi,
I need to find a used but working transmission for a friend who's is going bad at or about 220,000 miles. MB dealer wants $7,000 which the investment is not worth for this car. Anyone who has one in good shape please contact us.

There's lots of places to get used or rebuilt transmissions. Car-part.com is one site to look at. You should also mention whether it's 4matic or RWD as they use different transmissions. I also hope that 2007 is out of the balance shaft range, but I guess if it made it to 220k, it's probably safe.
