1993 300E 3.2L M104 motor, 111k miles, very good condition, owned since 2005, no accidents, garage kept, driven summers only, full synthetic fluids, non-ethanol fuel used, AC blows cold and does not need a recharge! ready to drive anywhere.

Pictures available here at Google: 300E

Here's a quick background on me, I've driven MB cars since 1999, an ML430 which I just sold to my neighbor, the 300E, 5 different 240D's, a 190E 2.6 5-spd, and a 560SL. I've been on BenzWorld for many years as DJ240 and MBworld as Dingo Joe. I take very good care of my vehicles and use quality parts and fluids. I maintain all my vehicles to by ready for a cross country drive at any time, just add fuel.

Here's the 300E's story: I purchased the car with 70k miles in early 2005 from the second owner, a local retired AF pilot and engineer. He purchased the car from a friend in 1998 with only 9800 miles. This friend, a doctor's wife drove the car less than 10k in 5 years. I was told she did not like the car. Whatever. The pilot/engineer used the car locally here in Ohio. I bought it and used it as a second car and used it when I was not driving my truck or riding my motorcycles. I did my best to not drive it when the roads were salted. The car has always been garaged and as far I know, has never had children in it or been smoked in. Food is not allowed in the car and the only drinks allowed are water. Besides driving locally on nice days, I've used the car for vacation traveling. I consider it a 4 wheeled Lear Jet and it loves to soak up the miles.

Let's start with the bad to weed out the weak of heart. It needs a hood liner, a rear view mirror, and headliner. It has 3 small dings, one on the left rear door, one on the roof, and one on the right rear door. I suspect all could be pushed out with the paintless repair process. None of these dings are large. Also, the previous owner did some amateur scratch/nick paint repair. It's really not that bad, but I'm a full disclosure guy.

Now the good: The interior is perfect, save the headliner. All the wood is in perfect shape. The original radio has been replaced with a nice Blaupunkt Brisbane and looks factory. Load up your music on a USB stick and you're good to go. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza's with much tread left, they all hold air and do not leak down. The wheels do not have curb rash but do have a bit of brake dust staining in the hard to clean areas. The head gasket was replaced in 2014 along with pulleys, belts, tensioners and coolant reservoir, the OPM relay has been replaced, the upper and lower wiring harnesses have been replaced with new MB parts, all fluids are synthetic including trans and diff. The cooling system has been fully flushed using the proper coolant. The brakes have much life left and the wheel bearings have been replaced and packed with synthetic grease. The headlights have been upgraded to ther Euro version, H4's iirc, they are all glass made in the Czech Republic, not Chinese junk. The AC blows cold, the sunroof works as it should and does not leak, all window glass is original and in good shape, wiper works, cruise works, antenna works. Seats and head rests are in near perfect shape, no cracks tears or stains, Carpet is clean with newer factory floor mats, battery is Mercedes and is newer, car is kept on a battery tender when not in use. Trunk is perfect with original spare and factory tools/jack. I also have to original factory owners manual and leather carrier.

The bottom line is this is the car that I expected to drive to my funeral. I had planned on keeping it forever it is original and unmolested. But alas, plans change, life changes and it's time for someone who appreciates fine cars to carry the torch forward. You know and I know, they don't make them like this any more. Asking $7500 with consideration given for the bad stuff. The car is located in Dayton, Ohio and is ready to drive anywhere. I'd be happy to pick you up at the airport.
