Good condition, driver-grade C209.  It's my daily, so mileage may creep up.  Rare coupé, most you'll see listed are rag tops, I'm guessing 2 to 1.  I recall a thread here suggesting that the total number sent to US was around 500 .

Two family southern car - 1st owner was a Navy officer who ordered it new, in New Mexico ; 2nd owner was his grandson, who brought it to Texas.  I bought it from him, so I'm #3.

If you're familiar with these cars, you know how special they are.  For the un-initiated, it's a velvet hammer, equally at home on highway or track.  In capable hands, could challenge an M3.  Take it out on the town, and it's understated in a way that only MB's are.

The legendary 5.5 M113 V8 runs well & pulls strong.  These hand-built motors are known for their bullet proof reliability, and this one is true to form.

The stout 5G-Tronic shifts with authority.  Porsche used MB's 722.6 as the Tiptronic in the 996tt, so you know it's up to the task with 740ft-lb/1000 Nm capacity (also used by MB's turbo 12's)

Beautiful Cubanite Silver Metalic (723U) in good shape for a 20 year-old, looks amazing in the sun, with the slight MB blue window tint.

• motor mounts
• RMS (oil leak)
