Supersized 25% larger than standard sized Heat Exchangers. Mercedes Benz 5.5L AMG Heat Exchanger for E55 CLS55 SL55. Mounts on E55 stock location.
Adding boost, Supercharged Mercedes AMG's tend to overheat in hot weather or extreme driving conditions. If you increase boost or horsepower, you can expect your intake charge temp to rise even further. Our heat exchangers use non epoxied furnace brazed cores resulting in better heat dissipation and are welded with CNC precision machined billet aluminum necks. With 2.25 liter fluid capacity and a large frontal fin area all help reduce heat soak issues. Installation requires basic hand tools and is the no cutting or other mods required to bolt in.
Installation Note:
The side brackets on our heat exchangers are made to bolt-on to E55. If you have a CLS55 or SL55, you will need to make 2 new holes on our brackets. There is no modification to your car as the installation is still bolt-on.
On the SL55, because one of the hose connection is on the driver side, you will need to add a longer hose.
