Description:
Selling my CLS55. I purchased it from a dealer in Las Vegas and the car has zero rust. Since purchasing the car, I have done the following:
New windshield
Rear bumper painted at dealer
New Bilstein coilovers with new Mercedes rear control arms and front upper and lower ball joints
Factory Bosch injectors
Spark plugs
Valve cover and breather gaskets
Supercharger and surge tank gaskets
Custom forged wheels and new tires (polished aluminum, not chrome)
The car drove fine until it developed a misfire that has exhausted all of my troubleshooting skills. Replaced ECU but it has an ESP malfunction and intermittent brake malfunction warning lamp. When I replaced the ECU, the car idled fine for about 5 minutes and started misfiring again. I don’t have the funds to fix and need the cash to cover other bills. Would like to get 10k for it as it sits or I am parting it out. If people start buying parts off of it I will adjust the listing that the whole car is no longer avail. Will include some Chinese long tube headers, HPA Compkat 3 inch cats, and FTP heat exchanger in asking price. Will potentially trade for a commuter car or pickup truck.
Jova Custom Forged Wheels 19x9 and 19x11 with Cooper RS3 G1 275 35 19 Front and 305 30 19 rear with New TPMS - $2800
Bilstein PSS9 coilovers with E350 tophats and rear control arms (plug and play) <1500 miles - $2250
Brakes - Some surface rust on the rotors from sitting but great condition and lots of pad left - $850
ECU with RaceIQ Tune - $500 + Shipping
Chinese Long Tubes - $350 + Shipping
FTP Heat Exchanger - $150 + Shipping
2nd Cat Delete + X Pipe Catback - $650 (Or can just do mufflers)
New HPA Compkat 3 Inch High Flow Cats x2 - $550 Shipped
Complete Car - PM me know what you need:
Full interior in good shape, no tears, (massage function on front seats not working) - Make an offer
Supercharger in good working order
Need to Test Compression but Should be Good long block as the car ran great and used no oil before the electrical issue
Good Transmission
New Bosch Blue Injectors
New Bosch Throttle Body and Harness
Air Box with New Paper Filters with High Flow Filters as well
Good Cats
55tech Grille
Headlights Have some Light Cracking but in Good Shape
Rear Bumper Freshly Painted
Solid Body Panels
Seems like some kind of a short or malfunctioning module because there is intermittent ESP/SBC errors and some of the injectors are circuit high/dumping fuel. Has a TPS code as well.

When did the issue start? Was is after some particular maintenance or repair or just started acting up one day? Was this after the new throttle body and injectors...or were these thrown on in an attempt to resolve the underlying issue? There's a very good chance that there is a ground wire or something very simple that's causing these issues. What about the batteries? Are you absolutely sure the batteries are good? Alternator putting out appropriate voltage? Voltage regulator still good (it's a wear item)?
We all know AMGs can be finicky and even the smallest thing can make the car go into fits.
