Description:
Selling my 97 S600.
I'm the second owner and I've had it since 2016 and maintained it by myself.
Car has 201k miles. No rust.
Exterior color: 189U. Paint is original. Interior color: 515A.
This is accident-free car. Feel free to run the Сarfax.
Only modifications are: 18" Monoblocks and Eisenmann catback exhaust. Stock exhaust is still available but not currently installed. Stock wheels are still available.
I recently did a tune-up that included engine oil change, brake fluid change and diff oil change. I also recently changed both purge valves and vent valve. I'll try to install new spark plugs, coil boots and coils during the upcoming weekend.
Car needs few things:
1) Vacuum lines/connectors should be diagnosed and fixed (door soft closure, trunk handle and driver's door lock). I didn't look into these issues yet.
2) There's EVAP leak. I changed purge valves, vent valve and gas tank gasket. Next step should be replacing old vacuum lines under the hood because hoses are indeed old.
3) Some old rubber hoses (including ADS/PS pump hoses) under the hood need to be replaced.
4) I'd do ADS service too. I already have new ADS accumulators and ADS fluid. I may do it later or leave this job to you.
I may do some of the above items later but there's no ETA since I'm currently working and studying.
Price is OBO.
ALSO I have extra rare parts available for sale including authentic Lorinser body kit (front bumper with fog lights, rear bumper and front vented panels), authentic pre-facelift AMG side skirts and authentic Brabus Monoblock IV 3-piece staggered wheels.
ALSO I have lots of parts from donor 96 S600 sedan including: two throttle bodies, intake, several control modules, 3 vacuum pumps (2 from donor and 1 extra), several radios (two default Becker radios and Becker Monza with Silverstone changer), engine wire harness, cabin wire harness, wood steering wheel (same color as my interior), instrument cluster with custom wood trim, V12 shifter, drive shaft, catback exhaust, differential, ADS struts, ADS / PS pump, calipers, one headlight, grille, etc.
This isn't low mileage car but such mileage gives me a piece of mind because if it was an ultra rare W140 with very low miles I'd never consider it as DD. This car could be your DD. Also I believe any W140 needs old rubber hoses, boots, gaskets to be replaced, so this is normal for an almost 30 years old car. I'm looking to sell this car to a W140 enthusiast who loves this body style and knows how to maintain these classic Benzes. I'd like to sell the car first and then all mentioned extra parts OR the car and parts together.
