I reported the post, and posted about it. The offending post was removed. Scammers create accounts with similar names as the OP, then leave a number to reach out to them as if they are the seller. I actually wrote a program to scrape the forum for new posts in the marketplace and report potential red flag accounts for similar names to the OP. I am not sure what mechanisms they have in place behind the scenes to try and stop or alert admins to these posts. But I think I am going to post my thoughts and output from my program and see if they are ok with me running it and how they want me to send an automated report. It is such a simple yet highly effective scam and I am tired of seeing it happen so easily here.
