Hello,
I am looking for a 2004-2009 E-class wagon, ideally within reasonable distance of southwestern Ohio. Prefer E350/E500 models. No E350's with an engine serial that falls within the affected range for the (potentially) affected balance shaft issue, unless there is documentation that it has been addressed. I realize it's not guaranteed it will happen, but not looking to take that chance.
Prefer silver, black, or dark gray exteriors and the black interior, but I am realizing I can't be TOO picky (def no tan/beige/gold though). 3rd row is a must, however, as I have 4 kids.
The lower the miles, the better. But not ignorant to the fact that maintenance history also plays a huge role.
I have been checking here and Benzworld, as well as auction sites like Ebay, Carsandbids, BaT & all the usual search engines like AutoTempest, Carfax, carsforsale, etc. I also check FB marketplace, and the W211/E-class FB groups I am in. Most difficult car I've ever searched for.
