Hi MB World,
We are selling a mostly stock G55 AMG Grand Edition. Back in 2005, Mercedes was planning on discontinuing the G wagon in America so they released 500 Grand Editions - fancy badges.
We are the 2nd owners, the original owner sent the G55 back to the AMG design studio in 2005 to have AMG fit the trim with Carbon Fiber. This is the only (to my knowledge) 2005 G55 Grand Edition with factory carbon fiber, this was a $14,000 upgrade.
Black on Black.
Everything works properly except the Heated Steering wheel option - I think the wheel needs to be replaced but since the wheel has the one off Carbon Fiber Trim we have opted to not fix it.
All maintenance performed by certified techs.
All service up to date. Serviced a few times a year. Always reliable.
Taken on many many road trips.
This G is ready for anything!
New Tires in Fall of 2017.
We bought this in 2013 with 18k miles.
Subwoofer in rear trunk.

Rides great on its newer tires. This has been regularly driven despite the low miles - Perfect combination. I would not hesitate to drive cross country. I can assist with shipping.
This G has a true charcter and nostolgia that the 2013s and newer just dont have.

G Wagons hold their value better than most cars. As this is an extremely rare car, it is hard to price it.

2014 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG
You're not far from me either. But I'm in the same boat - old G or 2013 G63 or 2019 G63 (yes, I know huge difference in $$). Character of old G, newer M157 engine (which is great in my GL), or completely new G63.
