Description:
This 2007 Mercedes-Benz R63 was sold new in Colorado and is now with it's second owner (me) in Oregon (that means no salt and no rust). Finished in Obsidian Black over Macadamia leather, the car is one of approximately 200 R63's sold worldwide (and the only one I have ever seen in this color combination). The 6.2-liter 32-Valve M156 V8 is rated at 503 horsepower with 465 ft-lbs of torque and is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. This beast is rated at 4.3 seconds in a 0 to 60 sprint.=startThe full leather sport seats are heated (front and rear) and feature 10-way power adjustments. Additional interior amenities include dual power sunroofs, rain sensing wipers, a rearview camera, and more. At a cost of nearly $8000, a Pioneer head unit with a display screen, Bluetooth, and navigation system has been installed, along with a hidden Passport radar detector and Wilson cell phone booster. There are three rows of seats to seat 6 and the second and third row seats fold flush to allow for additional cargo space.=start
The engine was replaced under warranty at 20k miles in December 2008 and was refreshed by the seller with new cylinder head bolts in February of 2018 at Mercedes-Benz of Portland as preventative maintenance. I have all receipts from new including the original window sticker ($90,705). Within the last few years, the following work was completed:

- New fuel pumps, filter, and pressure sensor
- New battery
- New right front wheel bearing
- Fresh fluids and filters
- Replaced spark plugs
- New transmission filter
This AMG is up to date on all service and is ready for a new driver. On any given day, you will be driving one of the fastest (and rarest), if not the fastest vehicles on the road--and do it with 5-passengers.

When I was looking for my R63, I found the overall average sale price was $35k, with an average mileage of ~98k. That spans the last 10 or so sales that I could find. I agree that with 62k miles a slightly higher price should have been expected. This particular R63 is 1 of 6 with the Black/Tan color combination, has a great service history and is generally a clean vehicle.
I think AMGFreek made a great point on the timing of the sale. That is likely a contributor.

Envious. If we were not relocating, I would have bid (more aggressively).
I would have read “all the money” in a number of ways, as there a limited number of buyers who could currently pull the trigger. This vehicle will find a suitable owner, and thanks for being a steward of such a great vehicle.

I haz all the dad cars - R63 AMG, a 2018 E63 Wagon, 2022 GLB 250, and a 2017 GLA 250 for the kiddo
So glad to see this pop up here and your post gives me a little hope that this might still work out. On BaT my handle is Sccrdad, maybe you remember me bidding on your auction. I’m up in Portland and still really interested in your R63. I was reluctant to bid up too much in your auction as I still have five months on my lease and my wife isn’t enthusiastic about picking up an extra car right now.
If you don’t mind, let’s stay in contact as I get near the end of my lease. I don’t think I can convince her to spend your current asking, but maybe by then we will come a little closer together. If you ever find yourself in Portland please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
