After totaling my C55 AMG I was on a hunt for a E55. After a LONG 6 months I stumbled upon this 2003. Pictures looked great so I decided to fly out and check it out. It was a one owner from Minnesota One of my main concerns was the car having rust, it had 0! The original owner (older gentleman) had never driven in rain or snow. It was a corporate car and everything maintenance wise was done at a local M-B dealership.
I purchased the vehicle with 102k miles and drove it back home with no sweat. It currently sits at 114,xxx. I drive the car about 100 miles a week so miles will slightly be going up.
Recent maintenance has been oil change (changed every 3k mi/3 months), supercharger/serpentine belt, front rotors (Meyle) and pads (Akebono), & East Coast Euro Polyurethane motor mounts ($475). Before I purchased the car it had tons of service done before 100k including the air suspension struts at around 60k miles. I have 5 pages of work that was done at Mercedes in Minnesota. The car is also lowered through STAAR, (can be put back to factory).
The car is in overall mint condition and does not look anywhere near the miles it has. The previous owner had a clear bra on the front end & was removed before I took ownership. Barley any rock chips that are noticeable. Paint condition (9.5/10) The paint is called pewter silver. The interior is also mint (barlo red 2-tone) still smells like new, condition 9.5/10. Rear seats looked never sat in. The interior wood is Birds Eye Maple.
The car is tuned by RaceIQ (the best of the best). It has a muffler delete, x pipe in place of the resonator & secondary cat delete. I still have the factory exhaust setup & will be included with the purchase.
