Interesting. This car showed up in my daily CarGurus search today from a reseller in CA for $159,990 at 7,794 miles on the clock > https://bit.ly/3rnBOJF . If you search the VIN, it looks like it wound up in TX and then went to auction with a high bid of $159,000 on Aug 08, which makes the current listing price a bit of a mystery. The current seller provided more pleasing pics and is offering to remove the red vinyl on request. I've been steering away from the magna finishes, but personally think this car would look pretty sharp toned down a bit with the red door panel and hood accents removed. Someone spent a lot of money on this and I like the idea of having a GT R that's never going to find it's twin parked beside it, but not knowing the history behind the performance upgrades (e.g. was it tracked, warranty voided) will most likely keep me looking for that lightly used brilliant blue metallic unicorn.
All high performance cars need some sort of accessible RPM (overrev) log like Porsche does. I guess it's hard to imagine such beauty wasn't driven like they stole it. At least once or twice...

Hello there. Yes I did have this car for sale in my showroom for quite some time. Never sold it. So it went to auction in Penn. A dealer in texas bought it, that's the last I knew of it until now. It was previously owned by Jason Bonham, an avid car collector and the son of drummer John Bonham from Led Zeppelin. He did all of the mods at Renntech, and definitely tracked the vehicle. It's not a car for everyone, I have driven the car personally and it is amazing. Most people probably don't need all of the extra HP and add-ons, but Jason did and when money is no object, you just do it.
Hey guys, I bought the car from auction and have planned on keeping it. Impossible to replace without spending a GOOD chunk of money. Its an amazing car and drives PERFECTLY. I planned on removed the red accents, but they looks much better in person. Being in the business, nothing is kept forever, so it is listed for sale as of yesterday.
