Description:
It is with a heavy heart that I am putting my beloved W211 E55 sedan up for sale. She is a 2005 with just over 81,000 miles and a clean title. I have owned this vehicle for almost four years and purchased it with 57,100 miles in August of 2016. Full service history from new (was actually sold new at a dealership up the street from me), and all documentation is provided (Check the Imgur album for copies of the VMI, Carfax, and Autocheck). Car is Pewter (723 paint code) with black leather interior in excellent condition (maintained with leatherique), black birdseye maple trim, Keyless-Go, Bi-Xenon active headlights, non-panoramic sunroof, rear sunshade, auto trunk, CGW recoded to ROW to enable SBC-Hold and SBC-Slow. Secondary O2 sensors, and Secondary Air Injection system coded out with STAR. I also have G-Paddles installed for a more enjoyable driving experience.
Vehicle has been maintained with only the highest quality OEM and Performance parts. I am selling because I purchased a replacement vehicle in April and I no longer have enough garage space (the E55 still gets a garage spot until its sold). Overall I would rate the exterior of the car an 8/10, and the interior a 9/10 (would be 10/10 if not for the ashtray cover crack ?
)
Go fast parts:
- MBH catless longtube headers & midsection w/X-pipe, out to W204 C63 AMG mufflers
- UPD 77mm SC pulley
- DTK Belt Wrap Kit
- 1-step colder spark plugs
- Bosch 010 intercooler pump
- PLM Heat Exchanger (I have a VRP secondary exchanger that I haven't installed yet, and will be included with the sale).
- Motor mounts upgraded to ECE poly (blue) mounts.
- ECU tuned by Tony @ RaceIQ
- TCU tuned by DTK.
- SC snout is bored out to 82mm, but has the stock TB installed. The 82mm I had did not perform well, so it was removed.
- 20% 3M Crystalline tint all around (minus windshield).
- Suvneer CF front lip, side skirts, and rear spoiler.
- Euroteck 4-fin CF diffuser.
- lowered via STAR.
- CLS55 19" wheels.
- Clear side markers.

The Bad: The car has been driven roughly 25K miles on AZ highways, so the paint isn't perfect, there is the usual wear and tear associated with age and mileage. I just had a new OEM Windshield installed last week to remedy some rock chips. The interior does have one flaw which is the common ash-tray cover crack which can be seen in the photos. The rear bumper has a scratch on the trim, and the front bumper has a small crack, also seen in the pictures.
In March of this year the car was hit while parked by a drunk driver (see damage report on Carfax/Autocheck), luckily the damage was completely contained in the driver front suspension (see imgur photo album), and the repairs consisted of the following: Upper control arm, Lower control arm, Ride height sensor, Lateral arm (Thrust arm), left knuckle, upper ball joint, outer tie rod, inner tie rod, and front sub frame. Both front wheels were re-finished and new S-04 PP's were installed. Car was sent to MB North Scottsdale for an alignment and everything is in spec and car drives better than before the accident.
Note: The front sub frame was replaced because the shop couldn't figure out why they couldn't align the car, and just replaced it as an attempt to remedy the situation. It did not solve the problem (because it wasnt damaged lol) and the vehicle was then diagnosed by MB North Scottsdale as having a damaged upper control arm, after which everything came into spec perfectly.
