Yes it should work if you already have a US COMAND in your car.
The Euro COMAND will allow your to play DVD movies and music. If you want to play movies while driving you’ll need a video-in-motion module.

To my knowledge you don’t need any code to activate the unit. It’s just plug and play if you already have a US COMAND.
I’ve already got someone committed to buying it but if that transaction does not complete I’ll let you know. I can meet your bro by LAX too if you end up buying this.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to do since you don't already have a US COMAND. I don't know enough about this process so check the forums to see if this would really be plug and play for you before buying.
