I live in DC and am planning to put my 2005 C55 with ~60K miles on the block in the next few weeks.
The car is well-maintained. It was just serviced at Silver Star Motors in October and has many recently replaced parts.
In the last 5k miles: new Akebono pads and factory rotors in all four corners, new transmission mount, new steering rack bushings, new Pirelli winter tires on new factory-looking Magnus wheels (the stock ones bent), new MAF, new engine air filter with the “speed43” stock-plus air box, new battery. I would drive it anywhere, even cross-country, in a heartbeat.
It does have accident history from early in its life but nothing significant and there is no frame damage or anything like that. It’s really in wonderful shape. I’d keep it forever but we just don’t need a second car right now.

Good day and Happy New year.
I live in UAE and will be relocating to Bahrain that does not allow me to transport my beloved C55 AMG hence, looking to sell to an enthusiast. The car is imported to UAE from Japan and is in its original excellent condition (recently registered with the local MB dealer).

Thank you, I was leaning toward c55 for the reliability as it is to be a daily, im getting another e39 m5 because I totaled mine, but this time around want the e39 to be a garage queen. The c55 seems like the perfect daily, and great car for my wife to get her license on.

Shipping would be outrageous, I'm in the US, if I was back in Europe would definitely be a better proposition. GLWS

C55 AMG
When I was younger, I would have preferred the M3, even as a daily driver. A lot depends on the type of driving you do and whether you are looking for a manual or automatic. Today, as a daily driver, hands down the C55 would be my choice. It is fairly quick, comfortable, responsive and to your point, very reliable. On the other hand, if I am going for a purpose type of drive on the twisty back roads, the M3 (E36) has an edge, but realistically, only in the feel of the road. There has been lots written comparing the C55 and M3, but my thoughts are that the C55 is verrry close to the M3 in terms of handling.
