I’m putting a feeler to determine if I want to sell my weekend toy or not. I have a 2006 Mercedes CLS55 with low 75,600 miles. Car is Cubanite Metallic Silver over black leather interior. Interior is in great shape with no tears in the seats. Ive waxed the car weekly. I bought the car 2 years ago with 62k and it was completely stock. Since the purchase I’ve done quite a bit of work and upgrades to the car. Most of my mods were in the last 5k miles. I’m not in a rush to sell and not sure if I even want to sell the car. Everything works on the car. Also added a Bluetooth adapter to stream music through iPod connector.
Since the purchase I have done the following items;
Engine rear main seal
Transmission refresh, new seals, clutches, conductor plate, etc
New tires within the last 2k all around
replaced valve cover gaskets and breather plate seals
new
spark plugs
new
air filter
factory recall on SBC
factory recall on fuel pumps
replaced the fuel pressure regulator
CLK63 black series engine mounts and transmission mount
Exhaust resonator delete (catalytic converts and mufflers are on the car)
new fog lights (one was cracked, I replaced both)
Mods;
RaceIQ stage 2 tune (I have 2 tunes, with and without pops and bangs) stock file also included
76mm VRP clutched pulley
gates 80530HD belt
VRP belt wrap kit
VRP split cooling
UPD intake spacer
Fabtech 5 piece metal idler pulleys
PLM XL heat exchanger
The car doesn’t need anything, it’s all sorted out. Does have a California Salvage title due to vandalism (scratches on passenger side & bumper scuffs) I’ve had the bumpers repainted and the scratches were wet sanded/buffed and minimal now. I have pictures to show how the car was purchased and can provide them to interested buyers. I bought the car with the intent to keep and that’s why I sorted it all out. However, I don’t get to enjoy the car and am looking to go into a different direction. With AMG no longer producing V8s this car will only gain value. I’m asking $16,000.

I was interested in your car, am local & saw that you had all the common M113k problems already done so I figure I'd purchase a Carfax first before contacting you. However the Carfax says Salvaged title, "Biohazard vehicle reported". What is the deal on that?

Not sure why biohazard. I have pictures to show the way the car was purchased from the auction. There was nothing unusual to me as why they have biohazard.

This usually means the vehicle was involved in an accident where an occupant had bled inside.
I figured it was that...or that someone had died inside the car.

There is no mention of vandalism, and the "defect" is defined as BioHazard.
Either someone got killed in the car or died inside from the injuries.
It could be a GREAT DEAL for someone, assuming that the smell is gone - it's usually almost impossible to mitigate fully.
