2003 E55, Silver with Charcoal/Napa Interior 124,000 miles - Clean Carfax
I am the 3rd owner, purchased in 2008 with just under 40k miles. It was my daily driver for several years, and now gets used from time to time but it mostly just sits in my garage. Hate to part with it but I think its time.
It is all stock except for the suspension, I took out the airmatic system and installed BC Racing BR Series Coilovers - Can't remeber exactly when I installed them but it was either late 2017 or early 2018 - there are only a few thousand miles on them, they are fully adjustable, just not from inside the car. (Self installed)
-Panoramic roof with the solar panels to power the cooling fan when the car sits outside in the sun
-Distronic (adaptive cruise control)
-Parktronic parking sensors
-Dynamic drive deats (active bolstering in turns)
-Keyless go (more on that in a bit)
-Navigation
-Bluetooth puck installed
The brakes are new, I just installed new rotors and pads, less than 300 miles on them (Self installed)
The SBC was replaced, at 116k miles.
The car is in really good shape for its age. The issues:
- The keyless go is not fully functional, -the driver door handle does not respond. -The start/stop button does work, but there is some sort of electrical demon that drains the battery if you use it to turn the car off - I am pretty sure I know what it is and can explain more. If you use the key to start and turn off the car there are no problems.
- There is a shopping cart ding on the rear passenger door
- The display screen has a black spot that is about the size of a dime
-The wheels do have some curb rash.
- Will probably need a set of tires, at least rears.
