Description:
I have a genuine AMG c126 built at the factory in Affalterbach that is in need of a replacement 6.0L AMG engine. The original engine was sent out for service and was never returned. Interested in any AMG 5.4L or 6.0L M117, series I or II in ANY condition, DOHC or SOHC. Will also consider an M119.960 6.0L AMG engine. That is certainly possible, but not the route I would choose to go if I decided to use a modern AMG engine. This car is a genuine Affalterbach-built pre-merger AMG, so it really needs another pre-merger engine to be installed to preserve the integrity and value of the car. This is why an M117 6.0L or early M119 6.0L is the best way to go. If my car were a "tribute" car, I would most certainly have already installed either an M113k as so many other SEC's have successfully done, or if honestly if I were to install a newer generation AMG engine I much prefer the M157 to the M156.
