Budget is $40-45k / 50-60k Miles

If you have a much lower mileage example then I am willing to go over budget for the right car.

Thank you all!

I promise you if this is legit, this is the closest thing you're going to get to what you want and should buy it yesterday.

https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...X=psxlinkshare

I found it here from a new forum member a couple weeks ago:

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...edan-sale.html

I'm only showing you this because I need someone else to buy it before I accidentally talk myself into it.

Autotrader indicates it may be in Vista CA as well... So like a couple hours away from you... So like as soon as you see this start driving lol. Again if this all checks out as legit and there is no funny business with the car (title issues, accidents) then I'd argue it's the cleanest 507 sedan on the market today simply in general. I'm not just shilling for the guy, I'm pissed I wandered in here again and found this car.

Ive spoken to the owner and been going back and forth but unfortunately he has a pending deal on the car. If it goes through, he’ll let me know but I told him I’d like to be next in line to buy it if his deal falls through.

Definitely a clean car. Seller is transparent with the things wrong with it.

Thanks for the link.

I'd prefer a black example and stock.

I rescind my statement about the seller and the car. I've looked and inspected this car in person. Not as clean as advertised. Front bumper has been repainted and has a lot of orange peel from poor paint work (this was not disclosed on the ad). In addition, I knew it was repainted as the rest of the front has PFF but none on the bumper. CarFax only shows a damage report on the rear. I looked underneath and the crash bar has been bent and black bondo was poorly applied to hide it. The paint match was also poor and you can clearly see the contrast. It also has a number of dents and interior seats need ALOT of work as it is coming apart from the trimming. I offered an exceptional deal and almost closed it. Seller got extra greedy right towards the end and I decided to pull out of the deal.

There are two sides to every story. I understand the car is not perfect, as any 11 year old car with miles will have imperfections. I offered the buyer a multi thousand dollar discount regarding said imperfections, he happily agreed to it. We discussed payment, he offered to bring a cashiers check or use an online third party escrow service, I agree to that. A couple days go by and he tells me a different story, I now have two different options for payment then what was initially agreed upon.

Option A: Mail my title to his credit union while only receiving 25% of purchase price. (Which I thought was sketchy).

Option B: Drive a total of six-seven hours out of my way to conduct the transaction at his credit union.

I opted to go with option B.

So I asked buyer for gas/time compensation to make the roundtrip. He agreed and offered an amount that would just about cover the gas. He did not consider mine and someone else's time to drive me back as it would end up taking most of the day. I asked for more compensation and out of nowhere he tells me he's pulling out of the deal. His explanation was I asked for "too much" compensation and that he never asked me to compensate him and his friend for making the trip just to view car and that left a "bad taste."

I'm not obligated to compensate every potential buyer's gas and time just to check out my car. Buyers and sellers have different responsibilities when it comes to a car deal. If a buyer wants a seller to deliver the car to them, the seller should be compensated accordingly. He calls that "extra greedy" but it is completely reasonable in this situation.

I tried to make amends by offering free delivery and even a further discount on the car but the buyer was still not interested. Makes me question his true intentions here, otherwise he would have taken the better deal. There was no reason to bash my car or our deal publicly. But now I'm sure it'll leave a "bad taste" to other 507 owners looking to sell...

Dude you literally reached out to me 3 times on the phone apologizing that you got greedy and that "it is a flaw of mine". Now you go on here and tell me I am a bad buyer ? I put your car on blast because sellers like you need to be put on the spot light and made aware to other potential buyers because you aren't selling a car that is properly represented in addition to having poor character. Your desperation to keep selling it to me just tells me that I should absolutely stay away from the example you have. Don't you have other potential buyers ? What other intentions would I have other than trying to buy a good example from a good seller. I think you're grasping at straws here.

I gave you a generous offer considering the condition of the car. Just about $10k more than what it was listed for at the Acura dealer you bought it from in TX last year...but hey I am a bad buyer right ?

Anyways, best of luck selling the car or you might be keeping it since its off Autotrader ?

Either way, you're past due for an oil change at Jiffy Lube according to the CarFax since you serviced it there last time...

Have a better day.

If your intention was to only buy a good example, why did you make an offer to buy mine? If it really is in rough shape like you’re describing, you would have passed on it.

I’m not hiding anything, I was transparent with you about multiple items. You even said that in a previous post. I never knew about the crash bar repair or the front bumper repaint until you pointed that out.

The dealer I bought it from didn’t know what they had and yes, I got a great deal on it. That has nothing to do with the current market value of it.

I was hoping to get it sold soon because registration is coming due and luckily I found a buyer for it, that’s why it’s off Autotrader. I have no ill will towards you, I just felt like defending myself.
