2006 maybach 57 color
what is the color code for the new2005 or 2006 maybach 57 ? i wanted to paint my car that 2 tone color. its on the maybachusa.com website.. it looks like a brownish and silverish 2 two tone can somebody tell me the exsact color of that maybach and the color code as well thank you

go to the maybach 57 and then view the exterior pix..... go to " the maybach" then exterior and then click front and rear etc..or use navagation.

If this is what you're looking at, this is my evaluation -- but I wouldn't stake my life or $400K on it. I have found computer renditions of MBZ paint colors to be far less than accurate, and only somewhat valuable for evaluation purposes. Maybach does have a hardbound brochure with large paint chips in it, which is what I tried to match this pic to. The Teide Grey has a very slight hint of greenish-brown to it. The Himalayas Grey is just a shade of metallic grey. The Himalayas Grey is a very popular color.
Maybachs are ordered at a 'studio' which is located inside the showroom of designated Maybach/MBZ dealer -- usually the biggest dealer in a State. There you can find actual samples of paint, leathers, carpet, and wood and other trims. If you're serious about this, go to one.

perfect! i just wannna know if its the exsact color and how would i go upon buying it now.. cause you said it might be the other color code so if you can find out for me it would be great! thanks

I'm not going to find out for you -- I am miles from a Maybach Studio right now. I think that it is the Medium Teide Grey because it has some brown to it -- but that could be from the lighting: if the lighting in that photo had any color values to it (color temperature) like from incandesents or flourescents, a yellowish, greenish, or brownish hue could have been added to the grey color of the paint in the photo...making it look like the Teide instead of the Himalaya.....
Nailing down the colors is your job. Might as well learn now: if you ever want to detmine exactly what a paint color looks like on a car you have to go and see that paint color under daylight conditions; and if not on an actual car than on the largest sample size material possible, and preferably on metal vs. paper.
