Whatever there's gas in...
Cont. GT or Maybach 57?
I know this is a dumb question...and they're in a completely different class but I just would like to know which you would choose and why? Thanks!

Uhh, M57, mostly because the Continental GT is already "so last season", and is already suffering from an image problem.
Besides, I am not a 50ish midlife crisis cosmetic dentist with a chest wig, or a trust fund kid from NYU with a GQ-inspired wardrobe and a sapphire ring. In a Maybach people will just assume I'm a poor chauffeur who really lives in a crummy apartment. That way I might gather a little less derisive looks and be less of a middle-finger magnet.
I also believe, perhaps foolishly, that a Maybach might be less prone to being keyed, scuffed, or kicked. Cars like Ferraris and Continental GTs are pretty vulnerable when parked somewhere, I've seen random morons abuse them, believing (correctly) that the owner is just some country club schmuck who won't do anything if he caught them. Maybachs, if accessorized properly with antennae, flag mounts on the fenders, strobes behind the grille, and perhaps a bracket for a rotating beacon, will make people think twice about even approaching them.

Quite an post there Hans.
I'd take the 57S simply because it looks better than the Bentley and the 57S will actually be "exclusive" compared to the Bentley which is no all over the place. Though I suspect Mercedes would trade some of the exclusivity for more sales! Get a 57S!
