As a MB rep I geuss the most judicious thing to say is.... no comment.

I will say (I couldn't help but comment, I geuss), if I had $300K+ to spend on car(s) (hello powerball!) I would not spend it on this car. Let me see.. $130K for a loaded CLK55, Black opal/charcoal for me please, if any body out there has the winning ticket and that leaves $187K for ????.

List on this Maybach is $317K..and yes, it's for sale.

As always, let me know if you want it.

You mean the CL55 for $130K right? Or does the new CLK55 AMG come with a CLK500 attached to it?

I agree 100%! People are buying them because it is #1 in luxury and the Name and price tag that come along with it! They don't buy it for the looks! MB just better not f*** up the W221 S-class or I'll be raising hell!!!!!

No, the MAYBACH dash is leather!!!!! Too bad it isn't velvet or there would be something else for me to complain about and put down the MAYBACH! If you think I hate the MAYBACH wait till you hear how much I hate the RR Phantom!!!!

How does the Maybach look cheap when there is very little plastic in this car? And that is suade and leather on the dash btw. Maybe these are some bad photos. I would rather see this car in a light beige interior. It takes a very good camera to do black any justice.

Well I've seen the Maybach in person and though it is barely made of plastic I think it just looks like it! To look at the Maybach it just doesn't do anything for me!!! It needs to be sportied up a bit especially to compete with the future of Bentley! Again my opinon only!

You raise an interesting point. The show room lights do bring out the worst of some cars. DOM! Here's a hint, drive the outside to a moderately cloudy day and take the pics

After that come to Texas, I'll throw you a twenty under the table for the car...

okay, the car doesnt look all that good. What happened to all the statements about the leg room that was crazy in the back? Amazing what photoshop can do to the car. (before it actually came out)..but gotta admit, it still does have the nice engine!
I'd rather get a phantom.:o

Those leg room statements were probably refering to the Maybach 62.
