Maybach
I saw a Maybach in Boston and I have to say that it did not look like a 300K car. It was silver on black and I was next to it and I took a look at the other cars to see if they noticed it and not one head turned to take a look. I would definetely not pay that much money for a Maybach unless they made the outside look as good as the inside. I could not tell if it was the 57 or the 62
you shouldve had a camera with you!
Before the Maybach came out, i was amazed at all the details that i read about it and its features. Now that i see actual pictures of them (like from dealers) it doesnt looks all that astounding
Also, there is so much markup in these cars. Wood is wood and leather is leather. The rest is hype...
I was in Boston and on the same day I saw a Bentley Arnage Red Label and a Maybach. I had a chance to get behind the Bentley Arnage it was silver on black. Soon after I was pulling up to a light and I ended up going behind a Maybach. The Maybach was silver on black as well. I was unaware to tell if it was the 57 or 62. Honestly the Bentley looked much better. When the Bentley was goin many heads turned to take a look. However when I saw the Maybach I looked at other people to see if they took notice and not one person did. The Maybach honestly does NOT look like a 300K car from the exterior however the interior may make up for that. I would DEFINETELY TAKE THE BENTLEY ARNAGE RED LABEL OVER THE MAYBACH
I still think the Phantom looks better. Maybach looks nice, but not rich, Phantom looks better than both IMO.

I am looking forward to a beefed up S class. The W220 looks so bare-bones compared to the W140. Note to MB: Make the W221 wider and taller.
I think MB wants to head more toward the "bubble" route by the looks of their cars anymore!
The built like a tank types of cars era are gone!
