Brabus Maybach!

Not feeling this at all! Not every car needs to be "tuned" up. You ever seen a rolls royce with a sports package?
These people want to be seen and be different and want others envious and don't want to pull up at Neiman-Marcus in 90210 Beverley Hills and park next to the same car.
Things change! We will probably also see tuned Rolls and Bentleys since they are owned by BMW and VW. The aftermarket stuff is coming for all 3. Especially when the Bentley Continental GT hits - It will be tuned. The market has changed and the people buying these cars are the younger afflent and they all want to individualize their Rolls, Maybach and Bentleys.

Yea, I dont like the exhaust...the original Maybach fromthe benz is better left alone.
how many people buying a maybach are going to tune it up
Bentleys won many races before WWII and won the 24 hours of Le Mans several times. They won it last year too.
The Maybach is something different than the Arnage and the Rolls. It is new and fresh but doesn't say "I've got loads more cash than you do" like a Bentley or a Rolls. Plus, it has 21st century aerodynamics.
That said, I would still rather have a 2004 Bentley Arnage T in a candy apple red (or some dark red) with champagne leather with birch bark cheery wood trim and Fikse wheels. but i'm just dreaming...

Imho, there is no Bentley that can really compete with the Maybach; the Arnage T is slower, less capable from a handling perspective and less luxurious. The Continental GT is faster (a bit
), but as a 2 door coupe weighing in at almost 5300 pounds (only a mere 800 pounds heavier than the CL600) quite a hog. Handling-wise I have read mixed reviews.Wolfman
I agree. It is lame when people bling out a Bentley Arnage. Why not leave it as the factory intended?
Or at least get quality forged wheels that aren't chromed.

C'mon...$2,000 is not much to pay when getting a Bentley or an expensive AMG.
Could you imagine an Aston Martin DB9 with cheap chrome wheels?!
Take a look at this article on the DB9...
