GlE 350 2016 with no power , wont start
Hello everyone ,
Today my GLE 350 2016 with 65k miles on it couldn't start. So here is the full story and i hope to find a solution/advice here. My wife came back from grocery shopping this afternoon with the car and everything was fine ,she didn't notice anything wrong with the it .30 minutes later i came back from work and had to go pick up my son from daycare. When i went outside and tried to unlock the car with the key nothing happened, there was no lights or sounds turning on indicating that the car was unlocked so i taught my key battery was dead . Then i pulled out the little metal key inside the remote key and tried to unlock manually the car . And as soon as i unlocked the car manually the alarm went off , so i pushed the start button and nothing happened . Then i pulled out the start/stop button and insert the the key and tried to start the car manually again, but that didn't worked too. The alarm stopped after a minute and there was no power at all in the car. I called MB roadside assistance and they send me a guy to jump start it as they taught the battery was dead ,but that didn't work either. The guy told me i have get the car towed and take it to the dealership. He said the problem could be fuses, dead battery or failed ignition (or something like that ). Couple hours later the tow truck came ,but we were not able to tow the car due to the tight parking lot of my building and since has no power we couldn't put the car in neutral .
So now the only thing i have noticed is the headlight goes on(the only indication of power ) if i open the passenger door and the alarm doesn't go off anymore , also i can't lock/unlock the car . There is no interior lights on or anything showing on the dashboard. And one more thing just came to mind as i write this is that i replaced both my wife's and mine keys batteries like 2-3 months ago and still we both were seeing on the dashboard the massage that says to replace keys battery.
If any of you guys had same issue and found the solution, or is familiar with the my case please let me know before i take it to the dealership.
