glc 300 "stop vehicle and leave engine running"
I owned a 2018 glc 300. This error message first appeared last winter but as I drove for a long distance it disappeared (but appeared again due to the weather and it fixed itself as the temperature got warmer). However, about one week ago I went 6 hour drive without this message disappearing. I went to AutoZone and the guy did a battery test for me saying that my battery is fine. I'm wondering if there's a problem with my alternator (I'm hesitant to replace it since it's expensive)
Any ideas/suggestions?

Did you ended up replacing the battery? I’m having same message on my wife car. Took it to autozone and I was told the battery is bad. If so, did they do a battery reset count? I’m getting conflicting info from different shops telling me GLC 300 2019 dont need battery reset count other says you do. Are you or anybody here able to confirm?
