CIG LIGHTER REAR WINDOW WIND FUSES HAVE NO VOLTAGE
Hi new member and my android is not working well on this site as yet.
Situation: no power to cig lighter and rear window
Vehicle: 2003 ML270CDI Auto 260,000K 156,00M
Fault Codes: "None"
OBD2 History: "Circuit 87 has undervoltage:
Vehicle condition: Battery is 11.7 volts at rest cold
Alternator Charge rate is 14.6 volts.
History: i fitted all new fuses a couple of weeks ago. New blade fuses are very slightly thinner. Vehicle was working well. A week ago i installed a new windscreen projecting (reflecting) OBD2 device it worked well . Yesterday cigarette lighter stopped working. I tested all fuses only to find that the 3 fuses nearest the firewall in the footwell had no voltage at all on either side of the fuses. I initially thought it might be an ignition circuit fault. If i had pulled one of these cars apart or had a circuit diagram i would have a better idea as to what the problem is. I am fairly new to computer assisted vehicles.
Any assistance appreciated. Preferably from someone who has rectified this fault rather than hypothetical suggestions. Many thanks Mark Australia
