Sprinter 616CDI - Front/rear axle OEM part numbers?

Dear MB-ers,

Own a Cathago RV on a 2004 Mercedes-Benz 616CDI chassis, with specifications as per the attached Excel file. To the best of my knowledge, this model is equivalent to the Dodge Sprinter 3500, correct? Since the vehicle is over 20 years old and has +100K km, I would like to overhaul the front and rear axles, including shocks, brakes, bearings, rubber parts, etcetera.

Identifying the correct spare part numbers in Europe presents a challenge, as it seems like the DRW version was never sold in Europe (which is not true). Most of the Sprinter spares on the European websites refer to the Sprinter 2500 model. Finding maintenance data and part information is easier on US-based websites, especially when searching for OEM numbers for DRW replacement axle and suspension components.

I referenced Figure 2-110 (Front Control Arms, Knuckles, Bearings, and Hubs) to obtain the OEM numbers for the front axle, and Figure 3-240 (Axle Shaft and Wheel Bearings, Dual Rear Wheels) to identify the corresponding OEM numbers for the rear axle. Subsequently, I utilized a VPN to access various U.S. supplier websites to cross-check the Sprinter 3500 data. However, when I enter USA-obtained OEM spare part information (Sprinter 3500) on European supplier sites, I often find that the parts are listed as incompatible with my Sprinter ( 5-T Platform/Chassis (W905) 616 CDI 2.7 (156 hp Diesel OM 612.981 ).

Long story short, I am a Belgian national residing and working in Southeast Asia. During vacations in Belgium, I utilize the RV as my “home-on-wheels.” With limited vacation time and living in my RV, I avoid taking things apart just to identify OEM numbers, and then waiting a long time for replacement parts.

Does anyone have 101% accurate information regarding replacement parts, particularly front- and rear-wheel bearings and related components such as ABS rings and seals, based on personal experience with these repairs or from a professional background? Summary of the most relevant information from the attached file:
  1. Model: 616 4X2 4025 - with DRW
  2. Release & delivery Date: 11 October 2004 (2004 or early 2005 model?)
  3. Engine: 612981 50 971696
  4. Transmission: 722681 05 707031
  5. Gross Vehicle Weight: 5.599 kg - 13.225 lb
  6. Axle Ratio I = 5.125
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can share relevant data or advice regarding these parts, Jef
