Shaving. Shaved everything except the star. That got scuffed then painted black.

A little wet sanding and then Graphene.

Stopped using fuses long again. Spark proof breakers are priceless.

I use welding leads from a local manufacturer and have for years now. Temco. I use a 20 ton crimper. Solder the ends as MB does. For the factory stuff I crimp ferrules as opposed to just bare wire into terminals. 0 gauge for power and grounds. I ground to the chassis always.

Not 100% buttoned up yet as I may do this a little different still.

About as factory looking as one can get. My rca pre outs from the Burmester.these are auxiliary full signal channels.

Measured three times before ordering and still was a major mission to install. But I got it done. JL Audio 12W7

Audioquest wiring always or self made.

Silicone license plate wrap. The plate already has a layer of Dynamat on the back.

New plate mount.

The entire trunk area I used liquid sound treatment on all the areas panels join. Then I installed 2-3 layers of actual mat.I sprayed the liquid to all the insides of the panel pieces and applied mat to the major flat areas.

That dynamat is a very good product, from what I have seen and heard.
Great noise reduction.
Great vibration dampening.
A little bit of insulation as a bonus.
Good looking ride.
