Hey I was searching for a renntech module for my e55 and stumbled on a forum here that says you can get a similar module at half the price....that sounds great...can you give me a lil more info. Maybe point me iin the same direction? I would very much appreciate it. I just purchased my e55 and would like to get wheels and put a lower stance on it and any pennies I can safely save are greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi you Curt – so you’re moving … hmmm. I’m not that good in US geography even I have been in the States a couple of times. Guess you have to buy a boat now? ha ha I’ve been busy at my work and also I’m making my own Internet site …. For SL of curse! I hope it will be up running in three month of time - and there I will make a DIY section – it’s only as a hobby – would like to ask if I can use your DIY on the window side trim?

Hey Klaus, I'm just checking back in myself. My wife has been down in Mississippi since last September and now coming home to Indy just in time for us both to move to Milwaukee so i have been too busy to even take a second to see what is up on the boards.

Haha. thought so. the curves on that sweet a$$ trump the lines of the SL (R230) everytime. The nice thing is the SL tends to attract that type of a$$.

LOL. The many times I have seen that pic, I really haven't been able to focus much on anything other than that rear end. I need a hardlink to that pic as I want to see that pic again...

Hi you cal1 – I see…. well as I have said before, then I then I really think this type of car don’t give value for money when it comes to reliability– compared to running cost. I have just gone through all receipts from the previous owner and that adds up. I think my SL 600 (R129) gives me more for the money – but the sl55 is certainly a beautiful car – and driving it makes you feel on top of the world – doesn’t it? I have taken mine in to the garage for ASSYST, changing the sparks, oil, make some repair at the trunk + steering … and it adds up to about $6000…….. hah … is it the same for newer sl55?
