Value of ML430 to sell (and interest check)

I'm helping a family friend sell their W163. I don't have the VIN and complete options list yet, but I do know that it is a 2000 ML430 with 130k. One owner, well maintained, most if not all options, including navigation. KBB is suggesting between 5k and 6k private party, but given the tight market for these vehicles, I question its accuracy. What would you estimate this vehicle is worth? Also, if there's any interest in it on the forums, I'm happy to provide more information.
