Just getting ready to upgrade my oem stereo system. Since I have gained so much help and info from this board, I will offer it to you first. Will dump the rest on Ebay. 2001 ML320. Phone + CD navi stereo, Alpine changer, Bose speakers... etc. Looks to be fiber optic. Have all oem components under seats, in dash and wherever else they stashed it. Currently in the vehicle and working great. Clear sound from all the speakers. Haven't tested the phone (if its even possible) Need a CD to test Navigation but the drive is there. No scratches or visible wear on any components at all. Would hate to waste components in such nice condition, especially if someone needs them.

I got an Android 3G touch screen stereo, amps and speakers. 20" LCD entertainment system. Looking forward to putting it all together when I can get some time.

Depends on what you are asking for it as well. Should just work with my amp and speakers.

You just need the head unit? Or do you want the disk changer, amp, speakers...etc? How is $300 for the stereo? Not sure how much shipping will be, we can figure it out. Thanks!

I do not have a changer is that needed for the NAV CD?

Do you have a model number so I can check some details for the nave cd.

Nice thing you are doing. Curious as to what you will be installing when you sell this. I just "upgraded" from F700bt to Appradio2 (Android) with ARLiberator. LOVE IT. Boston Acoustics all around and JLs in the back.

 

Terry, you don't need the Alpine 6 disk changer for the navigation. The CD drive for navi is in the head unit above the tape deck. If your vehicle doesn't have a changer, its probably not wired for one.... Not sure. This unit is from my 2001 ML320. Not sure if there is a separate model # for stereo.


Boardboy, I'm going with the Android 4.0 from ChinaVision. Its a 7" touch screen with WiFi and 3G tethering. Reverse camera...etc. Was planning on running the new stereo through an adapter harness until I can replace the amps and speakers with component speakers. Plenty of great mounting options in the ML for remote tweeters.

My system is definitely D2B. Won't be able to use ANY original components once I replace the head unit. Shame, sounds good. Oh well, makes a hell of an excuse to go all out.... Ha!
