Car not cold starting when not being driven for a few days

Currently driving a 2016 C63S. Recently started noticing that when i dont drive the car for 3-4 days, the car wont cold start and wont reverse unless I change switch to first gear (If i gas it in reverse usually it feels like something is acting as a barrier until it breaks through and is a VERY harsh jerk.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? If so how did you work around or fix this issue?

Not exactly sure why but it’s normal. Mine does the same when it sits for a few days woth no running. Also, any gear has a long delay especially when cold and hasn’t run, for example if I pull the Benz out of the garage and then back in shortly after just to get to something in the attic the engine revs fairly high until the clutch finally catches and moves.

Only when when it’s cold tho

It's never happened before for the last 3 years, but this is happening to me after I did the recent ECU update. Its happened about 10 times since the update but
the dealer can't replicate when I bring the car in. So I don't know what to do.

Mine behaves exactly the same after it’s first service in Feb this year, didn’t do it before.

My theory on it is that it doesn’t “cold start” when it’s been sitting. Since everything is most likely a bit drier than usual because it’s has been a few days since it has ran and been lubricated. So a softer start up would be easier on the internal components until everything is re oiled up.

if I drive my car the next day, BOOM it’s roght back to starting cold and loud. Or even the day after. But again if it sits for even like three-four days with no drive because of the rain or just working it does the same “soft start”

JMO, but makes sense to me.
