I Tuned my 2019 C63s - Thanks to Velos
Props to Velos and their handheld tuner - the process was seamless - I ordered last Wednesday and the box was sitting by my garage when I got home from the office on Friday. I was out of town for the weekend and just getting around to the download/upload process. Last night I download ECU file and sent to Omar at Velos. Reconfigured file was in my Inbox by 10:30am this morning. Uploaded file in <15 minutes this evening and took her out for a spin. She's fast! Very smooth (but torquey!) across the rev range; pulls hard to redline vs. not so much pre-tune.
Mike's Custom Downpipes with Vibrant's GESI 300 Cell cats are on order. Those will ship on Monday and when received will be shipped to JetHot for 2,500 degree ceramic coating. 2-day track day at the end of June at VIR which should be fun.
Seriously, can't say enough about Velos. Super communicative and responsive. For the value, hard to beat their handheld tuner option. I've tuned a few cars: Audi S4 with APR's ECU tune, M3 with ESS E-Tronic and now a C63s with Velos' handheld tuner. The price point and ease of use are ultimately what put Velos in front of JB4, which like the ESS piggyback, is a pain in the *** to install/uninstall. Just my $0.02. Going for another drive...

If you want to stay local and save a few bucks there is a reputable place in Davie that does the ceramic coating that Jet Hott does. Thats where I had mine done... exact exhaust setup with gesi cats. Came out perfect. PM if interested.

Are you sure it’s a 2019 model and how is it when you exceed 200 kph speed does it cut off on you? And from where did you buy the tune please reply I installed pure turbos on my car it’s a 2019 c63s and the car isn’t running properly.

Congrats on the tune!
True, the JB4 is a pita to install on the W205. However its worth it IMO for a few reasons. But comes down to personal priorities/preference in mods.

ANY aftermarket tune will void your engine (possibly entire drivetrain) warranty. The only one I know of is the one from Dinan. Unfortunately, they have not yet released a box for the '19-'20 models.

Do you have any real data that you can share? I know many members would love to see before and after 1/4 mile times and trap speeds.
Subjective reviews are fine but they really don't offer any quantitative information. Has anyone ever taken a Velos tuned Mercedes to the track?
I'd love a safe and "effective" tune for my new GTC.

One of the reasons someone asked about the year is the same reason I'm asking the same question. Pre- or post-FL? For my reasons specifically, I have a very new 2020 C63S. Last month Dinan said what they had been selling was not compatible with 2019+ models. Thanks for clearing this up.

There is a VELOS thread here somewhere and the first post is a pre and post tune dyno sheet.
I have the VELOS tune on my car and will be taking it to VIR in a couple weeks.
The Car and Driver "Lightning Lap" time for the 2019 C63s was right at 3 minutes.
With an extra hundred horsepower and racing brake pads from Porterfield I'm hoping to beat that time.
Their driver is way more experienced than me esp on that track setup so I guess we will see.

i am thinking of tuning my 2019 C63Cabrio to see if I can liven it up a bit.
No track interests.
How big a difference can you feel in street driving?
is it obviously stronger or only a subtle improvement?
