GP de Monaco, May 19-22
Hello
I have a good friend who for his 50th birthday has decided to give himself a trip to the Grand Prix of Monaco. He has asked three of us to accompany him, so am doing some research on this.
He has done some planning, but not much as far as I can tell. He has identified a 3-star hotel about a 30-45 minute train ride from Monte Carlo where he expects we'll stay. The plans are still very general, but I would expect that the event being only 2 months away, we may be a bit late in this.
I have no experience in attending a GP, and would like any advice, suggestions and/or recommendations, especially about this particular event.

I recommend you simply go with a tour company, they'll make all of the arrangements, which can be very helpful if you're going to a new country for the first time. I've been to a couple of GPs with these guys:

I will be in Europe that week, and I am undecided wether to attend Monte Carlo or Nurburgring the following weekend.
OK, I'll be honest... I can't afford Monte Carlo (grandstands are what, 800 Euro?), unless your friend lets me crash his party!!!
Hopefully I can make the plans to attend Nurburgring.
So far I've been to Hockenheim 98, Indy 03 & 04, and Spa 04. Can't get enough of F1!
