I'd really like to see Hamilton get a chance - not that expectations would be high, but just to see how he handles himself. Not knocking PDR, but he was definitely off the pace at Suzuka - claiming tires as the culprit. Could be, but Michelins were on a number of the top finishers. If Hamilton does well in testing at Jerez, I say give him a shot in Brazil.

i think that renault are going to take both titles at interlagos. If it turns out to be a michelin track, then mclaren might spring a few surprises, however i also think that ferrari now have nothing to lose and all to go for so they are goinig to be very aggresive there.

its going to be an interesting race to watch, also schumi's last, so excpect it to be special.

If they are going to run Hamilton next year, it would be a good time for him to run his first race and get the first race jitters plus the media hype over. Interlagos would be a tough track to debut on though considering how rough it is. I almost wish they would put Kimi out to pasture for the last race. He has just not been inspired and his heart is elsewhere. Get Hamilton going and let Pedro have one last race in exchange for all of his hard work as a tester. Pedro is good, but it seems that he doesn't have what it takes to be great so I think McLaren needs to start investing in someone else with more potential for greatness in the long-term.

Just one person's opinion...

Here's my prediction: Alonso will be running second to MS in the final stint with Massa 3rd and Rubens 4th. Massa catches up to Alonso, and takes both of them out fighting for position in a dubious but completely legal looking move. MS is set to take the championship and paces his race. Rubens puts on a masterful drive, and comes out of nowhere to takes the lead from MS with 3 laps to go, stripping Ferrari of the WCC, stripping Schumacher of the WDC, and getting payback in front is his home turf. The crowd goes wild and Rubens becomes the patron saint of Sao Paulo! During the champagne ceremony, 3rd place finisher Kimi Raikonnen whispers something into MS ear, and he is promptly HEADBUTTED by the former world champ. Later that night, the entire Ferrari team is seen trashing the Red Bull hospitality suite, while a wasted Jean Todt reveals his secret crush on Ross Brawn and how they ordered Max Moseley to outlaw Renault's mass dampers. Later that year, Osama Bin Laden reveals that he has been secretly funded by the Scuderia, so the US sends a black ops team to extract Luca di Montezemolo and places him on solitary confinement in Guantamo. In January, the Pope states that according to an ancient text found in the vaults of The Vatican, prancing horses are the source of all evil.

i think that it is safe to say that you have a wild imagination.

However i think that Kimi is the one who should take Alonso out.

That was pretty good, I don't know if it was the comments about Jean Todt's secret crush, or the fact that Ruben's Honda finished first. Pretty good indeed!

Looks like Lewis Hamilton is a no go for the grid.

Fonzi will have a bullet proof engine
Micheal will have a 'new' spec engine to last 1 race. Hmm, kinda scary.

MS will get his last pole in brazil
MS to win his final race

I never thought the end would come so soon.

I follow you up to this point, then it all started to get a little hazy...

It started to clear up with the Jean Todt/Ross Brawn thang...

But then it went south again at the di Montezemolo in Guantanamo deal... I would have thought the black ops team would handcuff him to the Eifel Tower, instead... so the locals could stone him to death with croissants.
