I think that it is all related to that stupid proposal from the FIA to standardize engines for all teams. The FIA made a statement that this is only one of the proposals and that there are other solutions to be discussed after Ferrari made a statement that they will leave the sport if that happens. I am so amazed over the year of the ridiculous statements that were proposed by high ranking members of the FIA.
In any case, Toyota seems to be doing a lot better now that Ralf Schumacher is out. It seems that the direction that was giving to the team in terms of developing the car was totally wrong and messed them up pretty badly. This year Trulli, which I think is a great driver, is doing a great job in working with the team to develop the car properly and they experienced a big improvement compared to previous years.
